VIBACO PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY
 
 
I. Definition
- Warranty time: is the time VIBACO is still responsible for receiving and solving warranty for battery products.
- Valid warranty card: is a warranty card issued by VIBACO with each battery, the sample must be in the prescribed form for each type of battery, do not tear loose, patch, production code on the card issued by VIBACO Preprinted and must coincide with the manufacture code on the battery, production code and date of sale (marked by the seller) without any sign of erasing or repair.
- Valid warranty decals (only applicable to car batteries): The decals issued by VIBACO stick on each battery, do not tear loose or accept signs of repair, peeling, sticking. again.
II. General rules
   VIBACO applies the policy of nationwide warranty: Customers who buy batteries at one place will have their warranty settled at the Battery Dealers, Product Introduction Stores, Service Centers and Official branches of VIBACO on nationwide.
III. Warranty period
   The rules depend on the battery group, printed on the warranty card or stamp as follows:
- For the motorcycle battery (flooded and VRLA battery): 09 months from the date of selling the battery.
- For civil battery  (flooded and VRLA battery): 06 months from the date of selling the battery.
- For car battery : 09 months from the date of selling the battery.
- For VRLA car battery : 12 months from the factory date.
   How to calculate the warranty period
    For batteries with attached warranty card:
- If there is a valid warranty card: The warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase stated on the warranty card by the seller, plus the warranty period specified above.
- If there is no warranty card or there is an invalid warranty: The warranty period is calculated from the date of manufacture is the manufacture code on the battery, plus the warranty period specified above.
For batteries with warranty stickers affixed to them:
- If there is a valid warranty decals: The warranty period is calculated from the factory date indicated on the decals, plus the warranty period specified above.
- If there is no warranty or warranty but not valid: Does not include warranty period.
How to calculate the warranty period for modified batteries after the warranty: The warranty period of newly renovated battery is the remaining warranty period of the previous battery (the battery is renewed), the calculation is as follows:
- If the previous battery has a valid warranty card: The warranty period of the new battery is calculated from the date of purchase of the previous battery. On the warranty card of the new battery, the date of purchase is the date of purchase of the previous battery.
- If the previous battery has no warranty card or has but is not valid: The warranty period of the new battery is calculated from the date of manufacture of the previous battery. On the warranty card of the new battery, the date of purchase is the date of manufacture of the previous battery.
IV. Warranty conditions: Battery products must meet the following conditions
- Genuine
- Intact
- Still in the warranty period.
V. Innovation conditions
 Battery products must meet the warranty requirements as above and fault due to manufacturing such as: touch circuit, broken bridge, pile break, flipped cell, blocked traffic due to defects of the shell.
VI. Cases not renewing: Product of one of the following cases
- Not meet the conditions as stated above.
- Battery shell is edged, exploded, cracked, broken,...
- Piles are cracked, broken, molten or recast…
- If there are signs of scraping or altering of the trademark, symbol, production code ... 
- Damaged by natural disasters, fires, floods, accidents ...
- The fluid electrolyte level is lower than the specified lower level or minimum line(this case is not applicable to sealed batteries)
- Stimulating with foreign chemicals or using sulfuric acid solution
- Excessive charging or reverse charging.
- Misuse the battery such as using car battery for fish sting, electric welding, electric shock ...
- Wrongly use the battery, for example: using car batteries for electric vehicles or other civil purposes.
- For types of batteries with a sealed device, sealed civil battery with sign of opening of the stopper or block on the battery cover.
This regulation is the basis for solving warranty of battery products manufactured by VIBACO from the date of signing to issue until there is another regulation.
